So, Jerome has started a music studio and has let me be a part of it.  This is truly groovy because the music that we make can be put out there for people to listen to and critique and all that happy mess.  I know I've said I'm gonna cut a CD on campus, but I've been busy busy busy, which means no time for CD cuttin.  I started making music again the other day, just the beat though.  Maybe this could work out to make some income.  Currently sitting in a hotel, XC regionals tomorrow.  We're gonna rock everyones' faces off.  We just had the Mental Revolution Document read to us, and it was awesome.  Tomorrow we'll have the best shusha known to man, I feel it (The mental revolution is top secret, you'll never get to know, however, the shusha is our warcry that we chant before every race.)  Currently I'm somewhat bored, hence the posting on xanga.  I'll be back in Delaware on the 23rd, so watch out for me.  I'll be doing some hair cutting, some DDR time, some Chris time, some Keri time, annnnnnnnnnd I dunno what else.  I'm heading off to bed now.  C ya.

howdy all.  Life over at the Covenant College is doing okay.  Tomorrow I should be getting Advent Children on DVD.  Woot!  Its currently Fall Break and I don't think I've ever been so bored in my entire life.  Mr. Barr called and gave me some much needed counseling, I love Mr. Barr.  I want to play DDR, I miss it so.  J-Ho is my only friend during this break.  I need a haircut.  I'm starting to get grades and such for classes, even though they aren't official grades because I still owe the school over 800.00 dollars, which makes me severely unhappy, and was the reason for needed couseling.  Psychology is the most boringest class ever.  I play Hearts and Freecell in there just about everyday.  My rat is cool though.  I have a C+ in psych.  Concepts in PE is a much hated class by me, but I have a 97 in it, so whatever.  English is also extremely boring, I have a B in there.  Old Testament Literature is my favorite class of all time.  We haven't done anything in that class yet so there aren't any grades, however, I have four papers due on the 20th, and I am working on the 3rd one as of now.  Cross country is doing quite well.  PR=36:21 for Covenant's 8K.  We ran up the mountain just the other day, from Mr. T's to the top of Carter Tower.  That was truly sensational.  My roommates are all quite groovy (I type in that word and realize how much my vocabulary has incorporated Ray's vocab...  eh, whatever) except for one.  My roommates include Johnathan Janos, a small dude with a servant's heart.  Hes a history major, and overall, the 3rd person on campus I have the most respect for, first being J-Ho, and second being Bekah Tuggy, whos mom looks photoshopped .  Next we have Nicholas Menchaca.  At first glance he looks like a white guy, but truth be know he has no white man in him.  He half spaniard, half aztec, which makes him a paradox, haha.  His major is undeclared, but I think hes gonna shoot for education.  Now the roommate that nobody really likes, James Thompson.  Over the summer he was the one I talked to the most and thought he was pretty cool, but my views has since then changed.  He randomly gets angry at everyone in the world for no reason at all, never wants to sit down and talk about whats bothering him, and then the next day, he seems perfectly fine...  yeah, just the other day he put Janos up against the wall, but I didn't know it because I was playing PSP with headphones on.  Nobody in the room really likes James, and so the most we can do for him is hope God uses his plans to make James a happier person.  James is a biology major and an aspiring pharmacist.  In the classroom, J-Ho is called Johnathan Horne, my RA.  He digs movies a lot (he has about 200 movies, its crazy)  His major is English with a focus on theatre.  He wants to be an actor one of these days, so get your autograph now, it'll worth something in the future.  Right now J-Ho is in his room with The AIDS, a serious bummer.  Well, I'm tired of this updating business, so I'm gonna go work on a paper for Old Testament.

::edit::  who uses xanga anymore?  Its all about the facebook.

You guys all thought I was gonna go all summer without posting something meaningful, didn't you?  Well here I am, giving you the ULTIMATE SUMMER POST.  Before the post begins, feel free to go to your fridge and find a beverage and a snack, because you'll be finished with both by the time this you're done reading this.

June:---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, to start my summer debrief off, I stayed in Delaware for this summer.  Its the first time in 15 years that I've had a summer in Delaware and that my mom has actually been there on my birthday.  It was most certainly different.  It was easier than I thought to tell dad that I wouldn't be able to make it this year, and he took it surprisingly well.  The biggest reason for my stay back was because Raymond had moved out completely and so now mom was alone.  I felt the need to be there for mom.  More on this subject will be spoken on later.  June/May was most definitely party month.  I went to 6 Graduation parties.  Emily's, Laura's, Sarah's, Neci's, Amy's, and Kristy's.  Neci's, Sarah's, and Kristy's were fun.  Amy's party, however, was by far incredibly awesome.  I got the beat down by Becca and Laura Moore with water guns, tossed Laura R. into a pool, ate much food, and just generallly had a good time.  I had much fun at her party.  Laura's car broke down on the way to the party though, which really wasn't cool.  Most unfortunate for Laura, however, is at that time she didn't know she completely destroy that car, another car, and she is now working on her 3rd car.  That really stinks I bet, but hey, she has a car to drive, unlike myself, more on that later though.  Can't say all that about the other two though...  Emily's and Laura's were really more family oriented though, Laura's cake was good.  My graduation party was cool too.  Dave rolled his ankle playing volleyball, so that wasn't any good.  I got dave's old laptop and a 150 dollar watch that I have yet to wear as major graduation gifts.  I made about 600 dollars, which was nice.  My dad came and so did most of Sherry's and my mom's family, which was cool.  I tried to play some techno during the party, but Mrs. Karen was all like "Who put this on, this sounds like something you'd hear in a gay bar".  Well fine then....  So what if my music can be played in gay bars, I still like it...  Anyways, so June was definitely a party month.  June was also my birthday month.  I didn't do anything for my birthday, seriously.  I went out to eat, that was it.  Kind of a bummer, but whatever.  Raymond did get me an XBox, which was nice of him.  Mom's birthday was 2 days before mine, and we went out to eat as well.  During the month of June, as the "crew" will well know, Neverwinter Nights is the greatest dungeon crawler of all time.  We made so many jokes in these LAN parties... so many...  more on those jokes later.  I'm going to attempt to tell every joke ever created during the summer... ha... fat chance Steven...  Anyways,  June 17-24 was VBS for my church.  I had an absolute blast.  It was great to play outside all day, and Mrs. Huxel was a great leader.  We had all these cool games and the kids loved it.  I got to know one kid in particular named Patrick.  He was a 6th grader that goes to W. Reily Brown, the school I went to when I was his age.  It was so awesome to talk to him about the changes the school has done and such, and I really got to know him through that connection.  Later in VBS, I got dave to go too and I think he had a good time.  On the last day of VBS we had a super soaker day.  Everyone left VBS soaked, it was great.  On the 27th I went to the doctor's for my physical and shot.  Last, but most certianly not least, Raymond accepted Christ into his life June 24th 2005 at 2:30 AM.  This alone made my summer supreme.  I first heard the news on the last day of VBS.  I've never seen raymond so humbled in his entire life.  I gave him a Bible.  About 2 weeks after raymond getting saved, mom asked raymond to move back in with us.  Woot!  Now Raymond is a better person because of it.  June was a very good month overall.  I really don't remember anything sucking about June.

July:---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now we move into July.  July was a little more uneventful and a lot more just laid back.  Back in June Dave started the big movie that he's been wanting to do for quite some time now.  This month, however, he gets in touch with a guy named Dennis Smith.  He tells dave that hes willing to pay to make a rollerblading video and mass produce it at dave's house.  It was quite the offer, and dave was all over it.  Unfortunately, after everything was filmed and all that, dave's camera started to mess up, so we could never finish the movie, and to this day, I don't think dennis has shown dave a cent yet.  Keri's birthday was on the 15th.  she turned 15.  Next year she is going to go into Environmental Science as a 10th grader.  From the 11-15, my church went on a missions trip to dover which was pretty cool.  I enjoyed it immensly.  We stayed at the church all week and ministered to kids from the Whatcoat Shelter and a few kids from the Hamlet.  The Hamlet kids didn't seem all that interested, which was a major discouragement, but the kids from the whatcoat shelter were amazing.  My part in the missions trip mostly was to play the Bible character speaker.  This job involves putting on a costume and acting as a character from the Bible.  This was a tough job considering I had done next to no studying, and I had to have 3 memorized within 3 days.  God provided the ample time necessary for me to get the job done, which was wonderful because then I was able to minister to the kids, and I know at least 1 kid had to gain from it, or why else would have God allowed me to be ready as I was?  God made sure at least 1 kid listened to what I had to say and it probably sticks out in that kids head almost everyday.  That is the power of God's work.  At the end of the missions trip, we all went to the drive-in and saw charlie and the chocolate factory and the fantastic 4.  They were both decent movies.  I got a job working for Raymond at Rite Aid up in Wilmington.  Its a good job, and I'll be working there whenever I'm in Delaware.  During this month, Covenant sent me my housing stuff, my tentative schedule for school, and this stupid essay that I have to have completed by August 22nd.  Boo to early schoolwork!  More on that stupid essay later.  Also in this month, I fully learn the awesomeness of Dave Chapelle, for he is a hilarious man.  For now, we go, finally, into August...

August:------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here we are guys, at this point, there are 19 days left until the next chapter in my life begins, college.  I can't wait to get there.  As you can see up om the header there, thats the countdown.  As of today, August 11th, let me tell whats gone down.  I've been doing pretty good at my job at Rite Aid.  Raymond finds me to be a great help.  The guy who works me with, Alex, is hilarious.  Hes like an old black pimp.  He makes me laugh.  To my recent demise, apparently one of the girls at work digs me, which is alright and all, its just that the feeling isn't mutual.  Speaking of unmutual feelings, I thought, oh I thought it, that Laura and I were gonna be back together.  Most unfortunately for me though, Laura said that she didn't feel the spark, so that ruined my next couple of days, but there are more fish in the sea as some people say, and some of the chicks at covenant weren't bad looking at all, so I'll just have to bust out my good ol' charm.  Most unfortunate for dave, the shirt joke won't work anymore, HAHA!  suck on that!  In other August news, the DDR Nationals are currently underway, and you all know I'd be right in there, but I have a job...  so no national ranking for me... maybe next year...  A couple days ago, a guy in my graduating class died in a car accident.  Car accidents were so frequent this year it was crazy.  His name was Kevin Vodvarka.  I didn't know him, I did look him up in the yearbook though and I remember seeing him around every now and then.  Its really wierd to look at your senior yearbook, not even graduated 3 months yet, and you can say he's dead.  If everyone would turn open their Bibles to Psalm 71:20, we read "Though you have made me see troubles many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again."  So yeah, life sucks sometimes, but don't be angry or question the ways of the Lord, for he works in mysterious ways sometimes, and all we can hope for is that his will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  My prayers go out to everyone whos been rocked by Kevin's death, may peace and the Lord's love find your hearts and make your path steady once again.

The Future:-------------------------------------------------------------------

Well everyone, its been fun.  Only a week left.  I'm excitied.  I'm leaving on the 19th and i'm gonna get there on the 20th, which is move in day.  My last day of work is this coming tuesday.  I've ordered most of my books, the only books I need are my psychology books, I've got everything else.  That stupid essay for covenant sucks.  Whats cool though is that I started it today, and got about 400 words in.  Thats one-third of the essay complete!  woohoo!  The coolest movie known to all of mankind will be coming out on DVD and/or UMD September 13th.  Final Fantasy VII:  Advent Children.  It is an absolute requirement to see this movie.  Persons failing to do so will be shot.  Not really... but this is definitely going to be the hott movie.  Thats right, hot with 2 t's, cause its just gonna be that good.  Again, thats September 13th, Final Fantasy VII:  Advent Children.  Okay, now that I'm done advertising about that movie, I'll advertise about the coolest game ever, Kingdom Hearts 2!  That'll be coming out in November, oh yes, most definitely going to rock my socks that game will.  After this first semester of school ends, I'm gonna go up to Maine to meet my family up there (who I absolutely love, because all we do is chill out everyday and play card games, oh yes, bring on the cribbage).  I'll also get to spend Christmas with them, which is also very cool.  Well everyone, Bon voyage and have good, fruitful lives.  Now, for the summer listing of all jokes and hilarious memories.  Here is how this is gonna work.  Everyone put up any jokes you can think of if the joke isn't already in the comments.  If its a joke I don't know about, please explain the joke so that I know whats going on and so that everyone can get a good laugh in. Seperate different jokes with a double space.  Since I've been typing and thinking about the summer for about an hour now, and I have to wake up at 3:30 in the morning tomorrow for work, I'll start us off with one joke, which successfully put Matt Freeman, Dave, Jerome, and myself on the floor for 5 minutes straight.

Daddy, Nick Cannon is hilarious.
Man, fuck you son!

Let the jokes begin...
